Bible Study

Hey Guys!
I've been leading an intimate bible study for about four months now and I'm loving it. I get the opportunity to do a ministry right here in Lethbridge and now, have the opportunity for my studies to evolve to more people! How exciting...the work of Christ is ever growing! So, I would like to show you what we learned lastweek on the topic of ressurection and I have a few questions for you to ponder...

Ressurection:
(Read Job 19)
As a Christian, God should be our center and as our center, He can heal all that goes wrong within us. If we look to Him, He will make us whole again! Isn't that fantastic! We have the blessing of spiritual ressurection if we just look to Christ!
When Job lost everything, his friends abandoned him. He had no support but did he falter? Surely not. His faith that God would make it right held him fast and in the end, God doubled his possessions and Job prospered and he was favoured in the eyes of the Lord.
We have to know that when our world is collapsing around us, if we have that faith in the Lord and stay strong, he will lift us back up: Soul ressurection!
Here's some questions for you to ponder and feel free to post your answers:
1. How do you picture life after death?
2. How does the anticipation of seeing God, affect your life? How could it affect you more deeply?
3. Why is it important that Jesus rose from the dead bodily, rather than returning to the Father in Spirit?
Bible Verse of the Week:
"We are hard pressed on every side but not crushed; Perplexed, but not in denial; Persecuted but not abandoned; Struck down, but not destroyed."
2 Corinthians 4:8&9
